The Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award is a nationally recognised award scheme for young people aged 14 - 25 years. There are three levels of Award:


Bronze (14 - 25)
Silver (15 - 25)
Gold (16 - 25)


To complete Duke of Edinburgh's Award a participant must purchase a Record Book and complete an activity from each of the four sections (five at Gold).


Service
(To encourage Service To individuals and the community)

Skills
(To encourage the discovery and development of personal interest and social & practical skills)

Physical Recreation
( To encourage participation and improvement in sport or physical activity)

Expedition
(To encourage a spirit of adventure and discovery)

Residential Project (Gold only)
(To broaden young people's experiences through involvement with others in a residential setting)
