camp to cadets who complete half of the one star subjects.
ONE
STAR
Age
13.4 - 14 years
Given
to cadets who pass tests on the following subjects:

First Aid
- Fieldcraft
- Drill and turnout
- Skill at arms
- Map and Compass
- Regimental History
- Rank structure
TWO
STAR
(Bronze, Duke of Edinburgh)
Age 14 - 15 years
Awarded
to cadets who can pass the one star subjects at a more advanced
level, plus complete a short expedition of 15miles.
Three
star
(Silver, Duke of Edinburgh)
Age 15 - 16 years
Awarded
to cadets who can pass the one star subjects plus a physical at
the most advanced level. Complete an expedition of 30miles, and
pass the Junior Cadet Instructors Cadre.
FOUR
STAR
(Gold, Duke of Edinburgh)
Age 16 - 18.9 years
The
cadet now fully competent can now move on to attend MOD courses,
attending two will earn you your 4 star, including the Senior
Cadet Instructors Cadre.
MASTER
CADET
(Gold, Duke of Edinburgh)
Age 16 - 18.9 years
The
best of the cadets go on a course at Frimley Park, the ACF HQ
to be tested in their leadership capabilities. A successful course
will result in you receiving the master cadet badge
(at the commandants discretion).
